To the Guardian newspaper: Your style guide needs a tiny revision
Welcome to the Project: Persia. We're here to revive Persia, a dead heaven which nowadays her absence harms all the world more than any time. We're here to rediscover Persia, to help mankind, humanity, and peace. Since the creation of the main website in Persian there have been positive feedbacks, and we hope to see the same with our global audiences. Best wishes, |

The Arabic company, MBC, recently launched a movies channel called "MBC Persia". It's expected broadcast newest Hollywood products with Persian subtitles. SpaceToon also, announced it'll launch a similar channel for kids and teens; airing Persian-dubbed animations. There's a question. What they'll call Persian Gulf and the 3 Iranian isles that Arab league claims the ownership? Will these TV channels plan a silent, drift in Persian's stand in these cases? We've no idea, but we should be careful! As, for example, Alarabiya's recently established Persian Website is calling Persian Gulf as "Arabian\Persian". Never welcome such a guest with a smile :) stay wise! |

Just months after the clear humiliation of the infamous TV series, "Eghma" to the Persian language, and Persian poetry; It's now Setareh-e Soheil which decided to, this time, depict a beast-like appearance for ancient Persians. Amir Ghavidel, Setareh-e Soheil 's director, went so further than the Hollywood's racist director Zack Snyder; He, thanks to all the super stars in his TV series, is going air an absolute anti-Persian product on IRIB1 in which Sassanid satraps (king's eyes) depicted as financially corrupted, immoral, and lustful persons who worship their king, Khosrow Parviz as God! |

In Dec. 25th 2007, an article been published in the Jam-e-Jam newspaper (owned by IRIB) by Fereshteh Moradi in which there was clear anti-Persian literature, things like "wild Persians", "kingdom Azerbaijan", etc. been used to directly offense Persians. Strangely enough nobody in or outside Persia reflected it, neither the author faced any criticism (compare it with Mana's infamous "namena" cartoon crisis, which was an indirect kidding with Azeri minorities and led to riots and mass protest for over a week). |

In the recent years there have been baseless claims against the people of the Achaemanid empire. Regretfully, there's a little thinking among the current people of Persia. This people believe what they hear without any thought. In the recent Hijab crackdown there have been lots of propaganda saying there's "no woman" in the Persepolis (Persia's capital during the most glorious Persian empire, the Achaemanid empire, which founded the first empire in the human history, and expanded human rights, tranquility, happiness, peace, and etc. (totally "lightness" as what Zoroastrian religion calls), and is respected by the people over here in Persia). On the other hand, there was strong propaganda saying men in ancient Persia were likely to hide women from strangers and thus they didn't depict them on the Persepolis reliefs! what a huge lie I was saying myself, but the bigger the lie is the easier people will believe it. This is why I wrote this article. |
