This is a request from every Persian speaking person around the world; we're asking you to revise your current style guide and respect our identity. We believe that we know who has encouraged you to make this decision. We believe that you yourself -- better than anyone else -- know how much wrong your theory is, and how much anti-Persianism lies behind such theories. We're asking you to revise your current style guide and remove the word "Farsi" and prevent any kind of incorrect, inappropriate, and offensive materials to be apeared again in a respected, highly trustable media like the Guardian newspaper.

Let us decorate our petition with a quote from Charles Prestwich Scott, "Comment is free, but facts are sacred... The voice of opponents no less than that of friends has a right to be heard."
